Someplace, Somewhere, something's Wrong. Poem by Sandra Feldman

Someplace, Somewhere, something's Wrong.

Rating: 4.0

Down the hill
And up to trouble
We are in
Very bad bubble,
Lies that freely travel
Only make,
Bad situations
Worse!
Open borders,
Don't bring growth,
Truthfulness is chocked
In throat,
And inflation blows
Again
Bringing power
To a shower,
Of incompetence,
And fear.

So, now it seems
That we have changed
Our good American champagne,
For some cheap, domestic beer.

Dear All, If Poets do not tell the truth, then who? Politicians specialize in lies with ties to nothing good. I appreciate your reading this poem and your understanding kind words, more than I can say,

I too had some similar thought going on. What do we gather only fear. Fear of inflation, fear of death, fear to achieve...so one. Do we have shifted yo cheaper beer. Good thoughtful poem.
