Solitude Poem by Olga Kotenok

Solitude

On the nights like this
I question myself
Should I’ve made that kiss?
What would it be if I didn’t fall for you that night..

Could it save we from pain?
Would I still cry tonight?
Counting the hours….my heartbeats…
Should I’ve made that kiss?

Days pass … Those lonely night…
I am alone, but I gave you my freedom…
You don’t love me, but you don’t let me go…
You don’t need me, but you want me…

My paint gives you power, but my paint makes you tired…
And you will choose to leave…
Will I be free? Will I live like the way I used to?
Or I have lost my wings forever, right the night you locked me in your arms…

I wonder if you think of me today?
What is on your mind that keeps you away?
My blood is your air..... it makes you fly…
As it flouts from my vanes… i don’t even want to try…

On the night like this
I question myself
Should I’ve let you in my heart?
