Soak My Feet Poem by Walter C. Edwards

Soak My Feet

Rating: 5.0

Going to soak my feet,
in lavender Epson salts,
once again,
then pretend,
that I am somewhere else,
lying in silk sheets,
with you by my side,
dreaming of warm beaches,
sand in my toes,
then just to walk upon rose petals,
on the floor before me,
as I come back after a swim,
not standing for eight hours a day,
beaten to the ground,
broken no way to mend,
smelling of slim,
sinking like the arm pit of the world,
just to rest my feet,
in a hot bath of salts.
