So Far Away. Poem by Kayla Bryant

So Far Away.

So far away,
a million miles or more,
doesn't matter, your still what I wake up for.
Untouchable,
yet I feel your breath on mine.
Perfection in one simple name,
slowing down time.
Hands intertwined,
souls connecting,
tears each night for my heart that is breaking,
breath taking love that is too real,
all the perfect things to feel.
I'm in this dream,
a shooting star spells out your name,
a voice in my head tells me all the same.
How can I love,
when all I do is compare
to all the past numbers,
the heart breakers I've beared,
he is different.
I can feel it.
So close, but so far away.
Speechless lips don't know what to say.
Do YOU believe in love at first sight?
