Smoke And Mirrors Poem by E.A. England

Smoke And Mirrors

smoke and mirrors
smoke and mirrors
the glass will crack
the fog will clear

when truth sinks in
and lies collapse
will freedom finally
bridge the gaps?

this big charade,
convincing show
it's left you with
nowhere to go

so fake that smile;
hide those tears
life is made of
smoke and mirrors
