[slipping]
I feel myself slipping
Back into the darkness
It's only been a couple days
But i'm already falling prey
I don't want to give up
I try but to no avail
I need to be rescued (again)
Taken out of this living hell
I know i get down easily
That's what everyone says
But i don't think they understand
the battle that's at hand
There's a fighting for my soul
And its beginning to take its toll
The devil gives me hard knocks
Surely he will never win
Im not one to give in
As i slip back into the darkness
I turn to God above
Trusting he is faithful
And never doubting his love

That really shows strength and courage. Keep your faith in God and He will guide your path. The Bible says that no tribulation is more than we can handle as long as we put Jesus first. Stay strong you are in my prayers.

He watches over us all...there is nothing to fear in the darkness but fear itself..an old saying...but like i said before much of my oldest poetry is of a dark nature...and alot is not...and i have poems of praise to our lord above...for in the past couple years he has shown me his love and forgiven me for turning away....~^..^
