Sleepless Truths Poem by Chant Gud

Sleepless Truths

I'm losing myself as the end is near,
Shall I make a choice to end it here,
I'm falling apart, tearing at the seams,
It has taken it's toll, I'm no longer seen,

But what choice have you left me,
You've locked the doors, I have no keys,
I'm on the outside looking inside,
No one cares but what if I died?

Would you care then but it would be too late,
Maybe this is destiny, this path, my fate,
To endure the rockiest road, the roughest seas,
Can you see my pain through my eyes, this is me,

I've fallen far, I've fallen deep and now I can't see,
My way out is gone, I slipped and paid the fee,
I'm so tempted to harm myself to end this hurt,
I've walked through this fire and now I'm burnt,

I'm on my knees begging for some relief,
I've stayed strong for it has been my belief,
To make sure I do not suffocate or drown,
Though I am digging my way far down.
