Sleep Poem by Seamie Mac Raighnall

Sleep

Rating: 3.8

Leaves rustle, soft
Gentle,
Silent whisper, in
Twilight
Captured, in a moment

Breeze catch, bubbling
Laughter
Precious few notes
Silence
Captured, in a moment

Turn of a quilt, cold
Foot
Stifled yawn, click
click click

Eyes roll, head
Tilt

Sleep

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I'm currently sitting exams and so I'm studying late/early into night/morning, this is just a moment I captured right before bed when noises filtered through my window and walls.

Beautiful train of thought, well articulated and nicely brought forth with insight. A well thought-out poem. Thanks for sharing Seamie.
