Sleazy March Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Sleazy March

A sleazy march
A grumbling crowd I saw
And it was night.

Up,
Up a cemetery road
Went up the crowd
And sighs and
Groans crawled round.

Fatigued and slow
Moved
Round the tombs
The crowd:
White Dawn began to come
And
Faded the crowd
Before the Dawn.
Though it was night.
