Slab Poem by Rubius Nox

Slab

The skies pulped
journalised sheddings,
blunting its graphite
in suited apes.
Anxious as teeth,
beneath the unblinking city,
of poised bows.

Radio gaggled at a misplaced sleep,
then lipsticked that caffeinated lead.

Like a lab animal,

Like I.
