Singing Inside A Full Cathedral Poem by gershon hepner

Singing Inside A Full Cathedral

In love with you I feel as though I sing
inside a full cathedral,
my heart thrilled like a finger with a ring
whose stone is polyhedral,
each side reflecting rays of light that shine
as brightly as my voice
which cries out in delight that you are mine,
my cherished loving choice.

Inspired by a friend who compared singing inside a big cathedral to being in love.
