Sing To Me Poem by Melissa Buhagiar

Sing To Me

Sing to me sweet siren

lay me in your arms

let me stay beside you

and hear the beating of your heart.

Sing to me of princesses

locked in ivory towers,

sing to me of love

and all the beauty it inspires.

Sing to me of knights

so brave

so noble and true,

sing to me of fairytales

and forgotten lands of old.

Softly hold me to you

and warm me with your breath

keep all i fear at bay

and forever keep me safe.

Sing to me sweet angel

as i lay with you tonight

sing to me so softly

and kiss me through the night.

Sing to me my lover

sing unto my heart

sing your beautiful love song

and say we'll never part.

Melissa I think I understand what you are trying to say, but wouldn't it be better to stick with one subject; so instead of ''sweet siren, sweet angel, and my lover'' you choose the subject that relates best to what you are trying to express and in this case it would be ''my lover'' nice poem though.
