Similes Poem by Alexzia Ferdinand

Similes

the spider its' webs
the dolphin its' dives
the wolf its' howls
as you to your lies

bird has its' nest
fruit has its' tree
bees have their hive
like you once had me

as years wear down youth
as gems hide below
as darkness to sunlight
so you were exposed

run carefree and cruel
my love, you should!
for after all,
you got me good.
