Silently Damaged Poem by kate Emma

Silently Damaged

Damaged in a way you don't notice
until you get to close
Unable to comprehend this person
Who has lost all kind of hope

Living here a person who has gone
So far over the edge
She doesn't even recognise or
No herself

Lost beyond the point of ever
Being found
Quietly hurting and never
Making a single sound

You look at her someone
So full of life
Not realising she is someone
Who has lost her light

A shell of something that
She never was
Passing through life
Well…just because

Not really living but
Not really dead
Stuck somewhere that is
in between instead

This is how a life must
Have to live
Trapped and unable to
Get out no matter what you did

What a feeling to have to
Manage by yourself
How to go on with
Just yourself for help

Just the one who can
Understand whats going on
Lost and empty
Whats the matter, whats wrong

Its like being on your own
Little planet
Population equallying one
And you have to manage
