Silence
Quiet at last!
Soothing serenity permeates the air,
Soundless sacredness seeps into,
Surrounds and sedates me.
It separates me from the world of
Anxiety, mayhem and madness,
It draws me into the world of tranquility.
It gives me the sense of pristine peace,
The peace that only comes with silence
And the silence that comes is so rare,
My mind yearns for it to quell my every care.
