Silence Poem by Laura Maddox

Silence

Find some woods,
sit down,
quietly
listen...
to the sound
of silence...
a whisper soft hush
of snow falling
all around

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I grew up in the country, miles and miles of woods and fields. in the winter when the snow was falling id sit down in the woods and listen and you can actually hear each flake hit the ground. This is my "quiet place" i go to when i need to slow down
