Silence Poem by Ugo Rockz

Silence

Rating: 2.5

She came in silken drapes
Enclosed in a colorless hue
Whose vibrance we don't see
She parades the streets unnoticed
The sounds of her feet we don't hear
Yet she crawls into our minds with wooing steps
Reminding our past
The need to find tomorrow today
Invisible, yet she sees us all
Some say she's the fool's remedy
We hear her cold sheen whisper
As she pledges a thousand favors to the wind
Just to courier her diatribe to the leader
She sings a song so soft and mild
Whose tune makes us slumber
She says;
Let down your earthly tether
Enter into the deep
Empty and become wind
The smoke from her ruins still goes up
As we begin festivities for Her Royal Emptiness.
