SIFAN HASSAN, Champion London Marathon 2023

I once wrote a narrative poem about her:
Sifan Hassan,
because she won gold three times for the Netherlands in the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020

this narrative poem about her is for the second time.

She became a Dutch citizen when she turned 18.

her mother sent her to the Netherlands for a better education
when she was just 15 years old

that's why she has had many foster mothers,

her brilliant performance in Tokyo 2020
has earned her the title of Queen of Athletics,
rightly because
after winning the 1500 m and 5000 m,
she also took gold for the 10,000 m.

You must have seen her running.
This is really unbelievable,
after two tough competitions,
that she had won the 10,000 m! !

That is why she was named The Queen of Athletics by the Athletic Association.

The last win was the 2023 London Marathon
although the chances of winning were nil (she suffered severe pains in her hip during the race)
and she fell completely behind,
but slowly, after some stretching on the track,
she recovered
the distance with the leading group was still very large,
but who could have imagined that she would still win this Marathon Debut after such a deficit? !

With this victory, she can run the Marathon
in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris next year.
Really amazing!
