Sick And Tired Of The Old Goons Poem by Hebert Logerie

Sick And Tired Of The Old Goons

I am sick and tired of seeing old goons
Swimming in the dirty lagoons
And creating division between black
And white children and anything
In between. We need to do something
About them before the sky gets too dark
Too many children are dying at the border
Too many innocent women are suffering
To protect their families and progeniture
Too many young men have died in seizing
Land that belonged to the American Indians
The forgotten Heroes. This land is theirs
Now it is your land? But they are American
It is my land too, you are unfair
Too many federal workers are penniless
They have bills, they need their paychecks
It is our land, we have rights too
When you leave this earth, take the fence
The border or the frontier with you
You make no sense, you have no defense
I am sick and tired of the old goons
Who are swimming in the toxic lagoons.
