Show, Don'T Tell Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Show, Don'T Tell

Show, don’t tell

Uneven is parking
Water filled, is a ditch
Green, with spoiled leaves
Nostrils feel stink

Sparrows, having fun
“In summer wash like this! ”
One invites, looks around
But scared watch the chicks

Camera does its work
Digital, it records
(The result of corrupts)
Four photos, of four sides

Facing north
In water are buildings
Facing south, the tree and clouds
West, tree and building, and east, car

The pictures are jury:
“The judgment…”
One can say
“…is blind…unless…looks to all sides.”
