Shopping Spree Poem by Beth Johnson

Shopping Spree

So I needed a few new clothes
so off the couch we did rose

Pulled into the mall
already having a ball

Went to a favourite shop
to clothes that looked hot

Got some bras and tees
gone away my present misery

Colours, sizes, shorts and more
had me pacing back and forth

Liking all there was to see
liking mom's great company

Getting bargains and sales
hearing babies cry and wail

So we make it to the cash
glad we made this mad dash

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Yes indeed....Couplets work well here...Especially with this rhyme scheme...Once again you display all the required principles that are necessary to architect a full-rounded jewel of a poem...Rock-On, Beth! ....FjR
