Shooting Star Poem by Alex McCullough

Shooting Star

Do you remember where the sun went,
When the lights were out,
Or what made the stars look so great,
As they shined in our eyes?
This web,
Of connected memories,
From todays and yesterdays,
Keeps me smiling everytime I look back,
A lone rider,
Time has moded each of us into,
......but let's remind them.
Shine on like a shooting star,
Collecting dreams as you move along,
Drive your mark into the night,
And we'll be right behind.
