I saw a shooting star tonight
Dancing across the clear black sky
Clouds up high, out of mind, out of sight
Full moon shining rays of vivid light

I made a wish, and hope it finds truth
For a sad soul to be cleansed and soothed
That smile to shine as bright as the moon
That shines in tonight's sky as day light looms

As night turns to day, from a deep sleep I awake
Holding onto that wish, cherishing my fate
I await the day that my wish will come true
Until this day, I will always wish for you
