Shilpit
My dictionary's extra pages,
occupancy (presence) and weight
from its Scottish words
are okayed by some words
that are not in the glossary
of my collected poems of Robert Burns;
also, by 'shilpit'
adj sickly-looking; puny; insipid;
watery; inferior.
I now have a word for bad art;
for an ineffective punch;
also, for the watery grape
I find in a homegrown bunch.
