Sheild Poem by Musical Mistress

Sheild

Amplexus speaks truth...
'Steady your heart baby this one might hurt, '
Voices keep screaming,
Pressure keeps building,
I reside to my corner to pour out my soul
and abandon my heart.
All of my emotions;
My pain,
My pleasure,
My anger,
My heartache,
floods this empty space surrounding me,
Tears keep forming but I fight them back,
I'll let no weakness seep through the cracks.
I'll keep up this act of strength,
I may look the part...
Strong,
Unbreakable,
Undefiable,
but inside I'm crumbling,
withering away to nothing but ashes,
being carried away by the wind,
scattered about,
carelessly blown away,
keeping this up is tearing me down,
It's time to come out of hiding.
I'll shed this fake sheild and show you me,
Broken,
Shattered,
Worn Away;
The part of me you may not care to repair.
