She wonders

Listen to radio
-here…now…
-Karen is
-guest anchor

Someone talks
-of Hot-Docs
-he has made a movie
-of taxi driver

'A total exception…'
-Karen says:
-'…I wonder…'

And she must
-she is one
-of pigeons and the birds,
-and the herd
-which work and
-are many everywhere
-nine to five…
-think of seed and shelter…
-nothing more
-no further…

Human? Humane?
-in her mind are questions
-she wonders…

That is what driver
-who must be immigrant
-is and acts…
-goes off way
-to help a needy (passenger?)
-ignores and leaves his job

Karen-likes must wonder
-such people have no heart
-they are hens and cattle
-in the barn, behind bars
-seeking food; (and the rest…?)
