She Wasn'T You Poem by Lesego Tsiu

She Wasn'T You

Somebody wanted my love,
She begged and even pleading,
She was even crying,
But i couldn't give it her,
'Cause she wasn't you.

I found myself holding someone's hand,
Walking down the street,
But i realised when i kissed her hand that,
She wasn't you.

It was in one of my sweet dreams,
Going down on one knee,
Asked will you marry me,
But i couldn't do it no more,
'Cause i saw that she wasnt you.

All alone in my room,
Took out my phone tryng to call you,
I dialled your number,
But by the sound of the voice that answered,
I could tell it wasn't you.
