She Says Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

She Says

She says

I met the Kurdish girl
That resents her father:
"Is an embarrassment! "

Sees me as his friend
Wants me to be aware.

It was our second time
I listened and she talked.

She wants to crush, bake
No one, but, her father!

So much heat and fire
Guess, isn't, in the Hell.

Have never seen the hate
To be so deep rooted…

"He is not patriarch,
As slaves he wants us! "

I have known her father
For around a decade.

Tried to save him of
The losses that he faced
So, became connected
Through such path or way;
Once a while sat, chatted.

I listened and he talked
About life, kids and wife
Removing thick curtain,
Revealing their secrets.

What he said was a side
She talks of other side…

Now mirror in front
Ocean is in my eyes.
