Shakers For Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Shakers For

Shakers for

Wooden, carved
And framed like barrels
Resting on the table were shakers.

Big bottle of Vodka
Finnish one.

And the juice
Italy's tomato.

Poured and mixed
And stirred
With enough
Salt, pepper
With the choice of spice.

Then served it on the rocks;
Simply poured on ice.

And drank
And drank
And drank

Bloody Mary is safe and is tasty!
Celery with dill pickle its garnish.
