Shades Of The Blue Moon Poem by G J Salgado

Shades Of The Blue Moon

The moon sits still and silent upon the blue colors of the night
From the black clouds came rain and the darkness took flight
From the sky she stumbled
Away from her he crumbled
She writes the scars and you play the music
Then we played the same song
We didn't know the words yet we sung along
Choking upon the ashes of their laughter
I know they're laughing at me but they can taste my thunder
You seemed to calm the demons inside my head
They kept us alive even after we were dead
Just because I am unknown doesn't mean I don't exist
It melts inside the candle of hate that drips
Darkness creeps in through the wax
As I watch it pour down your back
We formed into something new
You were my cure the moment I bled into you
Bleeding into you I faded until we became one
We found each other before we even saw the sun
