Sexual Abuse Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Sexual Abuse

Sexual abuse

Born Muslim, raised Muslim, and in search
I sat down and observed, a movie
NARROW BRIDGE
What a film
For people who are me, and like me.

Young boy was orthodox, so trained
As was I, in village
Both of us with questions
On right-wrong.

Was abused by Rabbi…see it all.

Jewish roots and Muslims’
Look-alike, exact same.

Between them if is war
Plant is of mullahs and Rabbis
Shame on them.

Movie’s theme took me to
The churches, cathedrals
Abusers shame on you.
