Serendipity Poem by Diwakar Bhatt

Serendipity

When my eyes met yours, heart raced fast,
Rapture immense seeped in forever to last.

Song of love sung by the nature to greet us,
Eternal muses accompanied for music lush

The somber night merged into a rush lavish,
A fantasy my fanciful mind created to relish.

Falling of a shining star was the good omen,
God too affirmed this union from the heaven.

Nothing pronounced, not even a word spoken,
Solemn oath silent we took never to be broken.

Solitude was the only witness in hush of night,
Breaths mixed and mingled in the lap of quiet.

No shame, no guilt, not even a sigh of repent,
Total submission in the name of love fervent.

Seed of love germinated to foster our tryst,
Serendipity it was or fate’s surprising twist.

Love will grow from a delicate sapling to tree,
Nurture it I will with all care and endless glee.

Treasure it will be invaluable, love’s manifest,
Water it we will till the time we take final rest.
