Sequestered In Lines Of Prose Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Sequestered In Lines Of Prose

Silently enjoying music and rhythms as they entice,
tease and taunt intellect into laughing, joy and
happiness never wanting us to be sad or lonely.

Sequestered in lines of prose, finding that an imag-
inational reality is always on edges of a horizon
beyond us.

We're headed for that heavenly place from the moment
of conception, never really veering from what our
destinies take us through and into spheres.

There we get ready for our deaths in time, expiring
from that last breath, our soul soars to heaven leav-
ing behind our bodies, the temples of our souls that
have protected it through the years.
