Orange is peeled and fragrance is imparted, such is the revealing of good quqlities after death. Beautiful Senryu on life and death is amazigly shared.

1 - i don't 'get' the meaning of first line. i suppose the orange died after imparting its fragrance. have you ever smelled a grapefruit tree blossom; it is divine! ! ! i have trouble thinking of a 'hermit'** as one who really lives. (cont.)
