Self Doubt Poem by Ray Hansell

Self Doubt

She sits at night and wonders
Could he be the one for me
After all I know so little about him
Also, what about what I can't see?

She wonders is he worth the risk
Do I really take a chance
Or am I acting like a school girl
Somehow, lost in a trance

I am well educated
I completed my degree
I feel a little uncomfortable
Because this isn't me

But then she thinks, why not
I think I'll give him a try
If he turns out to be who he's not
I can always tell him bye bye
