Self Centered Brother
Self centered greedy brother
Least done to his siblings
Looked at father as a demon.
Though the first son in the family
Highly irresponsible to parents and siblings
Mother's demise moved him to take
An extreme step to ditch father and siblings.
Least bothered about, just to fulfill
His dreams and passions, married a classmate
One year elder to him
Looked at her as his saviour, guardian angel
Lived in fools paradise.
Being a gold medalist, became a compounder
As his spouse a doctor by profession
Raised his collar calling himself
Spouse of a doctor and father of her children.
Years rolled on almost 20 years
One fine day that angle proved as an ugly demon
Gave him injunction, choked his life,
chuked him out from her life
Calling him impotent, irrational.
Left on the road, puzzled by the fate
Lives his life, by fighting the divorce case
The blessing in disguise is his father's
Share given to him, today though he suffers
Yet to regret, who could redeem him..?

Your poem is truthful to the core. Often brothers are misguided by their wives. It usually happens when laypeople are unaware of the law. But it is also essential not to misjudge the wives who are good though evil resides in the mind of the son's of the house itself. He is self centered because of his own family misunderstanding him or depriving him. Mutual Respect is the victory banner of every household to make it a good home.
Though he is Self centered, regardless to siblings feelings, my heart bleeds to see his pitiable condition, sacrificed his self for a selfish woman who now lives with another man exploiting the innocence and weaknesses of a man, thanks to give wonderful comments, take care
