Seeking A Healing Touch Poem by Miss Tee

Seeking A Healing Touch

So much healing to do...How does one begin this journey?
Can one truly forgive and forget?
How can I, or anyone, erase the hurt and all the pain?
To say' I forgive you' when resentment and anger runs in your veins..
So hard to let go when you've held on to it for so long
with both arms holding tight and the heart pulsing brightly with dislike - streaming through your blood like poison in your veins.
How do you begin to heal what is weak and hollow, delving within to find the slightest light?
A gentle touch to release the confusion inside and perhaps, make what is wrong once again right?
These wounds are deep, and your every word and act seems to deepens it further...and further...
I fall apart from my emotions, from the deep yearning that my heart cannot dispute...
Anchors and weighs me down in this present and so I ask you now: Where do I begin to heal?
Where do I find a balm to soothe a broken soul so that my heart will no longer sting?
