the world stops i hear no sound
everytime you come around
i feel as if im levitating
so when i fall you'll be the only one to catch me save me
you set my soul on fire
you are my most earnest desire
so if you ever come my way again stay
don't turn your back on me just say you'll never go away
but i should have taken the chance
wish i'd let myself go under your trance
it was too late
i was a fool to wait
maybe in another lifetime
under the spell of red wine
like it should have been when you met your eyes with mine
no expiration date exsists between us
me by your side my fears subside
your smile your scent your warm embrace
is wat i look forward to everyday
past all my imperfections you see me for me
and i apreciate all the times you been there to pull me out of all the negativity i was too blind to see
so sorry i pushed you away
when you opened your arms to let me stay
but i should have taken the chance
wish i'd let myself go under your trance
it was too late
i was a fool to wait
maybe in another lifetime
under the spell of red wine
like it should have been when you met your eyes with mine
you inspire me to be better
you taught me not to think never
but follow my dreams because this universe goes on forever
in most men i see frustration and cruelty
but in you i found grace and beauty
can't figure out how to fix all the wrongs
i miss you more than ever now that your gone
because when you left my bestfriend left too
is this my destiny? i can't except the truth
but i should have taken the chance
wish i'd let myself go under your trance
it was too late
i was a fool to wait
maybe in another lifetime
under the spell of red wine
like it should have been when you met your eyes with mine
only time will tell
till then ill keep those memories of us together
only time will tell
