Sea Poem by Rafik Romdhani

Sea

I came to you Sea to sweep 'n soothe my pain
I came to you morose and no more that sane
But I found myself in mission to soothe your ail
Moon's eloped you 'n you lost heart to gale
I came to you blue sea and snow on shoulders
Wind moaning 'n waves in mutual battering!
When I feared all birds Sea I fled like feathers
I took your way but your heart's more roaring
Roars more than years; moves faster than time
Saltier than tears andbitterer than mine
I came to you Sea to sweep 'n soothe my pain
I came to you morose andno more that sane
I found myself quietening in soothing your ail
Moon's eloped you andyou lost heart to gale
I had come to you Sea before I entered bars
But I found you burning and groggy with scars!
