Sea Poem by Hira Ahsan

Sea

I've a boundless sea in me
Loaded with eight-armed octopuses
Some prove mighty, some frail to move
Tempests, flood me to their strength
Sink me into damp groove...!

My islands eventually get drowning deep
A flourished end my soul does seek...!

Hope dwells in dark right angles
Humiliation rules when respect sleeps...!

Honour, esteem and acknowledgements
Each smile begets, no scorn breeds...!

Boundless sea that I bear
Flows wild as you move me...! !
