Suicidal Happiness

(The graves in my mind)

School yard talk

Questions, Rumours and opinions
No longer do we have the luxury of freedom
Things said, things you can’t make deny
Because one cares or listens not matter how much you try
All the words are about you yet you’re not getting told them
Everyone starts to look down at me like am something to condemn
I hate that everyone seems to think and yet nobody bothers to ask
So now I have to fake myself and cover up me like I’m wearing a mask
I don’t get what everyone issues are, so what if the rumours are true
It has nothing to do with them, yet there is nothing I can do
As much I scream, its seems just to make everything worse
And once one little thing is said about you, it follows you around like a curse
She’s a slut, she’s a lesbian, and it’s all I seem to hear
And then when you say ask someone what they are talking about the discussion seems to disappear
I hate this, I school and I hate everyone that speaks
My secrets are my secrets and only mine to keep
Everyone lies and everyone deceives
So Im going to go away, I am going to leave

Poem of the Day

poet John Clare

I love to see the old heath's withered brake
Mingle its crimpled leaves with furze and ling,
While the old heron from the lonely lake
Starts slow and flaps its melancholy wing,
