Scattered Wars Here And There Poem by MOHAMMAD SKATI

Scattered Wars Here And There

In every direction
In our life
There are many wars
Here and there,
Everywhere we go
There are wars that
Provoke our whole existence
As human beings,
In ever inch or
In every centimeter
We see a lot of wars that are connected
With our whole life,
We are not in peace, but
We are always at war
With ourselves,
With our life,
With our whole existence,
With our bitter enemies whatever they are,
With our words, and
With our hard days,
We fight on every front
In our whole life
Just to prove to ourselves
That we are still alive,
Our whole is merely consisting of
Continuous series of wars
Within wars that are ultimately endless.
