Saving Me Poem by Mel Caron

Saving Me

When I heard the news; the other day
I prayed that God take her suffering away
She does not deserve this
Please God, place a kiss
From each angel of your army
Directly upon her sickness
A soul too beautiful for illness
If you save her; you save me
So please
While on banded knees
I pray
That you God, take her cancer away
Please God, you must see
How many people, feel like me
Her children need her here on earth
Her soul is worth
More than Gold
So I beg you to hold
Her close, to not take her away
Just grant me my wishes today, and let her stay
Here in my life, pain free
Oh please God save her now, she means everything to me
We all love her so much
She only needs your touch
Do not take her away, from her family
If you save her; you are also saving me
