Saved Poem by Dale Totten

Saved

I was left, I was right
In between, I lost sight
Who am I? I thought I knew
But that was when, true was true
Lost alone, can't find my way
A 'sittin' duck', evil prey

Am I dreaming outside myself?
Looking down, I need help
Wake up fool, before you die
Satan has you, angels cry
Wake up fool, it's not a dream
Satan has you twisted in his scheme

Movin on, but stumbling, like in the night
What's ahead? Searching for light
Like in a maze, with no way out
It all seems useless, what's life about?
Is there more before I die?
Up above, the angels cry

Down to nothing, completely spent
Enter you, heaven sent
How could it be, this joy now mine
Was there for me, all this time
Life filled with love, not guilt or shame
Taken away, you killed his game
Spread the word, to others like me
They too can be.......Saved
