I stand there right before you
My eyes so close to tears
I don't know where to turn to
I feel far though you are near

I've been through all rejection
I have felt all hurt and pain
Your looks withhold perplexion
And leave my soul with strain

Oh heal me again
Before you were my cure
Had I never found an angel
With conditions so, so pure

I sit there in the sunlight
Containing all my sorrow
For the one who keeps my world bright
The one I wake up for in tomorrow

Oh save me again
When I looked into your eyes
It seemed the world was all for me
And I had the greatest prize
