My heart is set on you
I wish that time wouldn't pass
I'm afraid my love's untrue
And our hearts will break at last

I want to keep this moment
I want the scene to stop and freeze
I want to keep you in my arms
Pretend that I'm still happy

I don't know if i was just looking
For someone to wrap my arms around
Or if it was truly admiration
That took me off the ground

It's driving me crazy
Because I don't know what to do
I'm sorry, I can't say it anymore
Those three words - 'I love you'

I'm afraid it was all my imagination
And the fire was nothing but sparks
I'm afraid because I know it was all pretension
And my heart aches to get out of the dark
