Sandisiwe Poem by Mduduzi OneMind

Sandisiwe

Once in a while, thousand miles away.
Could this be a fantasy?
But why does it feel so physical and almost tangible.
Wait for a moment, to look deep in the heart.
One Mind had to be seated in focus with the soul.

In deep contemplation and actual realisation
She affected my consciousness with her tenderness.
I sensed her innersole on each and every word she said.
All the scars and bruises, the soreness in her spirit
All the disappointments and lies, that placed her courage to love too critic.

Like a burned down forest, she rises on the next summer
From dust and ashes, like a phoenix with passion and flashes
She gently approach each and every day with a sneer on her appearance.
A smile that turn to smelt the frost of this cold world.
Against the odds, she conquered wars of the hearts with boldness and no sword.

Though she survived all the trials and tribulations without our presence.
With her in our lives, we are blessed and expanded by her existence.
The heavens are calling her Sandisiwe, for her love alone covers the whole atmosphere.
Her essence is guided by the adoration of the omnipresence
Through the storms of fire, through the hurricanes of life
She is standing still even in the mistake of the Rain, maMvuleni.

Once in a while, thousand miles away
With or without us, those who do not lustre
She is who she is.
With or without us, those who intend to last
She is who she is, Sandisiwe!
