Sanctuary Poem by Angharad Davies

Sanctuary

Rating: 5.0

I love the rain that fell that day
Between the pillars and the stone
We ran like charged children
Through lightening and storm

Drenched in stars, in light and half light
We broke through the church
To contain the might

Pretending that we did not know
What power had brought us there
We lay in arms together
For once without a care.

Two musical souls captured for a moment by the rain. Very charming poem. I like it very much. Warm regards, Sandra
