The Shipwreck Poem by Angharad Davies

The Shipwreck

Rating: 5.0

In the watery depths of my womb,
There lies a shipwreck
Its mast and frame made of you and I
It cries Freedom from within

And so with release at its tail
She will never meet us on this shore
And with freedom in her sail
The stars are her oceans forever more
