Salute To My Family

To my family and to my friends
all faithful and prevailing
Between us all there will be no end
And we send the fakes trailing

I remember each and every one of our stories
And how we all began
I recall all the crazy memories
I bet every one of us can

The ones who I know I speak to them
There the ones ill ride with til I die
You all know where we've been
Never caught any of you in a lie

So hear me when I say that I love you all
And that I got your back
you ever need me just call
Because we all know we're not just a family
We're a pack

And if you doubt that you dont belong
If you dont take this for a fact
Your dead wrong
we've got no papers, forms, or contracts
But we've got blood, memories, and eachothers back
Its good enough for me

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Where sunless rivers weep
Their waves into the deep,
She sleeps a charmed sleep:
Awake her not.
Led by a single star,
She came from very far
